What is a Chief Spiritual Officer?

Companies have Chief Executive Officers because businesses don't run themselves. There must be a visionary that guides the company to success. The CEO charts a course to take maximum advantage of business principles and human nature.

What's  true for the physical life of a business is true for its spiritual life as well. Someone must keep the faith and see to it that spiritual principles of success are followed. But while there can only be one CEO in a company, everyone in a business can be a CSO, be it a sole proprietorship or a world-spanning conglomerate. The power, dignity and equality in Spirit of all people is one of the spiritual principles CSO's rely on, and so they know that every participant is fully empowered to help an endeavor chart its spiritual course, if they so choose. Imagine what your company would be like if every employee knew it was his or her joy and responsibility to keep the dream alive!

By "spiritual" we don't mean this or that religion.  There are principles behind all religions that can be followed to our betterment. We also don't mean hocus-pocus or magic.  Spiritual principles are have been confirmed in the fields of physics, psychology, and neuroscience. Spiritual principles empower and enliven. They return us to ourselves.
